Many Bible verses speak about him. God is clear that Satan has been a liar from the beginning, and that evil is his way… It is said that he is the most beautiful of all created beings, and that he fell because of pride. Isiah 14: 12 “How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’
Satan has done many things to try and destroy God’s plan. In the Garden he used pride to trick them. Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Then God said to Satan All the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” ** This was actually a prophecy. It tells us that Satan would kill Jesus and one day Jesus would destroy him. Jesus was crucified on the cross and one day Satan will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. The reason for the flood was because again through his evil intentions, Satan devised a plan to corrupt the seed of woman. The angels known as the watchers came to earth and had sex with the daughters of man. The plan was to corrupt the seed of man and make it impossible for God’s plan to work. But as we all know, nobody can defeat the plans of God.
