The Lord’s Room

Everyone will die, you can’t escape it, it’s 100% assured. The reason I asked the question is that there is a war being fought for your very soul, but “YOU” are the one who determines the outcome of that war. It’s important that you remember there is an eternity after this life, and your decision determines your destiny.

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mark 8:36-37

God loves the world so much that he gave His one and only Son.
Whoever believes in the Christ will not perish but will have
everlasting life. For The Father did not send His Son into the
world to condemn the world, but that the world through Jesus
might be saved. John 3:16-17 Paraphrased

“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the
Father except through me.”
John 14:6 NLT

Then Jesus said to them again, Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. John 10:7-8

“Christianity is a Relationship between God and man based on
the life, death, and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ.”
Dr. Elmer L. Towns

“Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last
days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying,
Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers
fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of creation.”
2 Peter 3:3-4

1. But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
2 Peter 2:1-3

How many times have you thought or heard
someone say; What am I here for or what
is my purpose? The answer is so simple
that most people go through their whole
lives and never seem to realize.
God created us to have a personal relationship
with Him, through that relationship we find meaning.

Jesus’ love for mankind is unlimited; He proved that when He gave His life for us.

People have asked many times; how do I communicate with God?

When we pray; we talk to Him. When we read the Bible; He speaks to us.

Both websites are a witness to the world for the Lord Jesus the Christ [Yeshua].
I make no apologies for that, but I do hope we can always explore together the possibilities of what Jesus has to offer. Other page link is at the bottom.

It is possible to know for sure if you are going to be with the Lord. Go to the *Salvation link and find the answer. The Lord wants you to know. Please look at the other links above. There is more information there. My only desire is to share God’s message, to help people make an informed decision. Please add this page to your favorites.

My prayer is that you find this website a blessing because as everyone knows, it isn’t always easy to find answers. I want to give you a straight forward look at the true Christian relationship and not what some have tried to turn it into. Look at what I share with an open mind and consider the information. I want people to understand what the Lord teaches us in His word, not what secular or false teachers “enlighten” us with. Discernment is one of the great gifts the Holy Spirit gives us. It is developed through prayer and study.

Time is very short, Please consider what the Lord has to offer you.
Remember, When it seems like there is nobody who will listen,
God is always there. God really does Love You!

This website is dedicated to what Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.

The meaning of Messianic Judaism

What Is Messianic Judaism? is adapted from Messianic Judaism: Questions and Answers, a booklet written by Rabbi David Chernoff. What Is Messianic Judaism? answers some of the questions frequently asked about Messianic Judaism.

Rabbi David Chernoff

What Is Messianic Judaism?

Messianic Judaism is a movement of Jewish people who believe that Yeshua (Jesus’ original name in Hebrew) is the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of the world. Yeshua is the most Jewish of Jews. Yeshua was a descendant of both Abraham and King David, was raised in a Jewish home and went to synagogue. He perfectly kept the entire Torah (see Galatians 4:4). He taught that He came to fulfill, not set aside, the Torah (see Matthew 5:17-19). He was a rabbi who performed unparalleled miracles, bringing great blessing to the nation of Israel. All His early disciples also lived very Jewish lives. The Messianic movement was entirely Jewish at its inception, and continued to exist as an authentic Jewish movement for 700 years after Yeshua’s death and resurrection. Messianic Jews have not stopped being Jewish. On the contrary, we remain strongly Jewish in our identity and lifestyle! The Tenach (the Old Testament Scriptures) provides the foundation of our Jewish faith, and the New Covenant Scriptures (which were also written by Jews) the completion of our Jewish faith. In fact, the Hebrew Scriptures themselves affirm that they are not complete, but that God was going to make a New Covenant with the Jewish people (Jeremiah 31:31-34). We believe that the Sinai covenant, upon which much of traditional (Rabbinic) Judaism is based, is a broken covenant. There is no Temple and there are no sacrifices by which we can be brought near to God and experience genuine atonement. Non-Messianic Judaism is based on this broken covenant, which cannot save us. In contrast, we believe that God already established this New Covenant by means of Yeshua’s death and resurrection. He died and rose again to atone for our sins, so that we can enter into this New Covenant relationship with God. We believe that Yeshua ascended to the right hand of God the Father and is coming back to Earth to reign from Jerusalem over Israel and all the nations of the world. At that time the fullness of the New Covenant will be realized.

What Is The Difference Between Messianic Judaism And The Various Non-Messianic Judaisms?

Non-Messianic or Rabbinic Judaism is a religion centered around the teachings and writings of the non-Messianic rabbis. Its formation began during the Babylonian Captivity (around 550 BC) and solidified nearly 2,000 years ago when the Second Temple was destroyed in 70 AD. Prior to that, “Judaism”, or the faith of the Jewish people, was centered around the Temple and the sacrificial system, and brought genuine atonement. After the destruction of the Temple, the non-Messianic rabbis decided to radically restructure Judaism, substituting synagogues, rabbis, prayers, study and commandments for the Temple, priests and sacrifices. They also added many of their own laws, rules and traditions. Sadly, they left us with a man-made religion that is powerless to save us. Today their writings and commentaries (the Talmud, etc.) form the foundation of traditional (non-Messianic) Judaism. Rabbinic Judaism consists of several branches: Orthodox (traditional), Chassidic (Orthodox with influences from eastern mysticism, including belief in reincarnation – a non-Biblical concept), Conservative,Reform (liberal), Reconstructionist (emphasizing Jewish culture over theology) and Secular Humanistic (denying the existence of God). Very few within these “Judaisms” are actually awaiting the Messiah, and those who are, are the exceptions. Messianic Judaism differs from Rabbinic Judaism in that we rely completely on the Scriptures. Our faith is the Judaism of the Bible (Biblical Judaism) and is centered on Messiah and the salvation He brings. We are brought near to God because of the atoning work of Yeshua, Israel’s Chief Rabbi, who has fulfilled us as Jewish Believers and fulfilled Judaism itself.

Is There A Difference Between Messianic Judaism And Christianity?

In one sense, Messianic Judaism and Christianity are the same thing. There is only one faith. Messianic Jews and Christians share the same core beliefs. Messianic Judaism is the same faith but it is expressed within the Jewish heritage.

Copy and paste.

I think there are far to many “Christians” Making excuses for too many things.

I must start out by saying that there is a difference between using Pot or any other drug for medicine and using it for pleasure. There is a lot of evidence that pot has many medical uses. And yes I understand that it grows naturally, but that isn’t even part of the issue.

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Very important to know that many things can keep a person from God, not just our pet sins.

Revelation 21:8

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

This is also covered in the Old testament.

The word Sorcery is from the root word for Pharmacy

It is in reference to those who were producers of mind altering drugs are known as Sorcerers. The drugs were used in worship to false gods. Although it is now referred to as being part of witchcraft and it is in a sense. The history goes back a long way past what people do today. But some “religions” still use drugs in their religious ceremonies.

God knows that anyone who takes too much alcohol, or anything that changes the state of a persons mind can change their relationship with Him.

If we are not in a sober state He is limited by our choice. This includes the use of Marijuana. Most people either don’t know or ignore that even though it is mild like maybe using alcohol, Marijuana alters your concept of reality. Although it can be just a little.

The meaning from the original word sorcerer. ‘sorcerers’ were persons able to prepare and dispense potions. But why did they dispense these potions? Was it in order to give relief from illness? Absolutely not! It was in order to stimulate hallucinations or visions! We must understand that it was long part of pagan religious practice to administer potions, or drugs, which would encourage hallucinations! There is, of course, a direct parallel here to modern illicit drug taking. But these original pharmacists’ were involved in the black arts and in demonology; the basic idea was that taking certain potions could bring one into contact with the spirit world, and that this was to be desired.

Much of those drugs were used in pagan idol worship, in the 60’s LSD was so powerful that a person had visions and no unlike Timothy Leary tried to tell us, LSD didn’t bring you closer to God. All it did like so many other drugs is confuse your mind and take you away from truth.

As a Christian if your going to take anything that changes your state of mind you are putting yourself at odds with God. Our relationship with Him is to be in reverence. Contrary to what some might think, you can’t be reverent if your stoned. Your mind isn’t working on the level He intended it to.

God wants all your best so you can understand His best and His true relationship with you.

Chapter 8

1. Moreover Azazyel taught men to make swords, knives, shields, breastplates, the fabrication of mirrors, and the workmanship of bracelets and ornaments, the use of paint, the beautifying of the eyebrows, the use of stones of every valuable and select kind, and of all sorts of dyes, so that the world became altered.

2. Impiety increased; fornication multiplied; and they transgressed and corrupted all their ways.

3. Amazarak taught all the sorcerers, and dividers of roots:

4. Armers taught the solution of sorcery;

5. Barkayal taught the observers of the stars;

6. Akibeel taught signs;

7. Tamiel taught astronomy;

8. And Asaradel taught the motion of the moon.

9. And men, being destroyed, cried out; and their voice reached to heaven.

Execrations: the act of execrating. 2. a curse or imprecation: The execrations of the prophet terrified the sinful multitude. 3. the object execrated; a thing held in …

As you can see, there is a very long history of the demonic influencing men.

Although these two articles go against societies ideas today, it’s something to think about.

Demonic Doorways

Satan is a very devious person. He doesn’t come after people in just one direction. His purpose is to divide and conquer. If Satanism doesn’t work how about Islam, etc.

The following list of paths are just some of the things he uses. The bottom line is that we have God’s Word, and in His word He tells us about the things that separates man from a relationship with Him. The Church is given the gift of discernment for a reason.

*Eastern Religions *Yoga *Kundalini Spirits [Hindu Demons] *Divination *Use of Drugs which includes Marijuana, LSD, Heroine, Cocaine, etc, anything that changes a persons concept of reality. *The normalization of Homosexuality *Freemasonry *Illuminati affiliations *Many Video games * Islam *New Age Religions *Olumba Olumba Obu *Feel good witchcraft__IE: Harry Potter *Backmasking is a deliberate process, whereas a message found through phonetic reversal *The Forgotten Ways *Rosicrucianism *Necromancy *Halloween *Grave Soaking *Astrology *Re-birthing *Tarot Cards *Mormonism *Jehovah Witnesses *Prosperity Gospel *Kabala__Jewish mysticism *Ouija Board *Fire Walking *Palmistry *Goth *Wicca *Creation Worship {earth, etc} *More adoration for a person, than God [The Pope, etc]. *Hindus and Buddhist make a Pilgrimage every year to Muktinath, they come from different places in India in the thousands to visit and pay homage to Lord Vishnu. Much the same as Muslims making the Haj to Mecca.

The normalization of deviance, is deadly. The normalization of deviance is defined as: “The gradual process through which unacceptable practice or standards become acceptable. As the deviant behavior is repeated without catastrophic results, it becomes the social norm for certain aspects of society. It is gradually forced on Society, until it gives the impression of being normal.

These examples are just a small part of Satan’s tricks.

One thing I have been noticing a lot more lately is “Christians” using the very sad excuse of “Judge not”.

John 7:24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

A video about Satanic worship in the church.

Please keep in mind that while Satan is very powerful, but remember nobody is more powerful than God. Keeping yourself in the protection of the Lord is the only real safety. Reading Scripture and Prayer are our strongest weapons. The world is rapidly becoming ungodly showing that the Lord was correct when He said it would be like in the days of Noah.

Working your way to Heaven!

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all like an unclean thing,
And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;
We all fade as a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind,
Have taken us away.

Isaiah 64 Matthew Henry commentary

64:6 The people of God, in affliction, confess and bewail their sins, owning themselves unworthy of his mercy. Sin is that abominable thing which the Lord hates. Our deeds, whatever they may seem to be, if we think to merit by them at God’s hand, are as rags, and will not cover us; filthy rags, and will but defile us.

Even our few good works in which there is real excellence, as fruits of the Spirit, are so defective and defiled as done by us, that they need to be washed in the fountain open for sin and uncleanness. It bodes ill when prayer is kept back. To pray, is by faith to take hold of the promises the Lord has made of his good-will to us, and to plead them; to take hold of him, earnestly begging him not to leave us; or soliciting his return. They brought their troubles upon themselves by their own folly. Sinners are blasted, and then carried away, by the wind of their own iniquity; it withers and then ruins them.

When they made themselves as an unclean thing, no wonder that God loathed them. Foolish and careless as we are, poor and despised, yet still Thou art our Father. It is the wrath of a Father we are under, who will be reconciled; and the relief our case requires is expected only from him. They refer themselves to God. They do not say, Lord, rebuke us not, for that may be necessary; but, Not in thy displeasure. They state their lamentable condition. See what ruin sin brings upon a people; and an outward profession of holiness will be no defense against it.

God’s people presume not to tell him what he shall say, but their prayer is, Speak for the comfort and relief of thy people. How few call upon the Lord with their whole hearts, or stir themselves to lay hold upon him! God may delay for a time to answer our prayers, but he will, in the end, answer those who call on his name and hope in his mercy.

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” Hebrews 9:27
“For the wages of Sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
“unless you repent you will all likewise perish”. Luke 13:3b

You can’t earn or buy your way into heaven
Dan Beliveau

There are far to many misguided Christians that have been led to believe that Jesus’ purpose is to make them rich. Our Lord didn’t die on the cross so you could prosper. He did it out of love so that man has a path to Salvation.

The Object of our Worship

Dave Hunt

“Christmas, with its emphasis upon baby Jesus, tends to perpetuate another serious Catholic heresy: the pernicious myth of Christís subservience to His mother which Roman Catholicism has deliberately promoted for centuries. Mary certainly should be called blessed as the mother of our Lord but she is not Co-Mediatrix and Co-Redemp…trix as Romanism teaches. In Catholic cathedrals throughout the world, for example, one quickly notices that the paintings, statuary and stained glass give Mary the dominant role. She is even at times shown on the cross as our Redeemer. Jesus is either a helpless babe on His mothers breast, a small child between her knees, or a lifeless victim of the Cross in her arms. Never is she in subjection to Him, and rarely if ever is He shown in the triumph of His resurrection. She is the Queen of Heaven, where Jesus remains a child subject to her direction.

Typical is the beautiful thirteenth century stained-glass window we recently observed in a church in France. At the top are the words Le Pergatoire, indicating that it is a depiction of purgatory. Mary and Jesus are shown on a cloud (i.e., in heaven), with the tormented souls in the flames of purgatory below them, arms extended upward in supplication. Are they crying out to Christ for help? No, they are appealing to Mary. She wears the regal crown.

And Jesus, the Lord of Glory, who triumphed over Satan at the Cross and now sits at the right hand of the Father how is He depicted? As a child about seven years old, standing between the Queen of Heavenís knees! No wonder the souls in ìpurgatory do not appeal to Him for help. At the bottom of the beautiful stained-glass depiction of this abomination are the words: MËre Marie, sauvez nous! (Mother Mary, save us!)

Such heresy does not originate in the imaginations of the artists but in tradition and dogma not only tolerated but promoted by the Roman Catholic Church. The fear of purgatory is very real to a Catholic, and Mary has provided an escape for those faithful to her. She allegedly appeared to St. Simon Stock on July 16, 1251 and gave him what is known as The Great Promise: Whosoever dies wearing this Scapular [two pieces of brown cloth containing Mary’s promise on one, her picture with Baby Jesus on the other, worn one in front, one in back, connected over the shoulder by two strings] shall not suffer eternal fire. Like the Mormonís magic underwear, the Catholics scapular will supposedly accomplish what the death, burial and resurrection of Christ could not. In 1322, Pope John XXII received a further promise from Mary known as ìThe Sabbatine Privilege: ìI, the Mother of Grace, shall descend on the Saturday after their death and whomsoever I shall find in Purgatory [who died wearing the scapular], I shall free. St. Simon Stockís famous prayer ends thus: O Sweet Heart of Mary, be our salvation!

Christmas offers a rare opportunity to share the true gospel of Jesus Christ and to expose and correct the ecumenical and confused picture it presents annually to the world. Millions are seduced into thinking they are Christians because they have a sentimental feeling for the baby Jesus. Let us remember what Christ said to those who believed on Him: If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (Jn 8:31-32). It is that truth which we are called upon to proclaim in clarity and power.”

The truth of the Cross is that only through the Blood of Christ can a person be saved. God bless

“I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: “I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to be God.” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic, on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg, or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.” C.S. Lewis

In what Christians call the Old Testament there are 16 prophecies that point to Jesus [Yeshua, Isa in Islam].

There are many things written about him in all the books of the Bible, lets take a look at what was told about his coming and life.

1. Seed of Woman; Genesis Chapter 3
2. Born in Bethlehem; Michah 5
3. The time of his coming; Daniel 9
4. To be born of a virgin; Isaiah 7
5. Slaughter of the innocents; Jeremiah 31
6. Ascension to the Father’s right hand; Psalm 68
7. Flight to Egypt; Hosea 11
8. Declared the Son of God; Psalm 2
9. Galilean ministry; Isaiah 9
10. A prophet; Deuteronomy 18
11. To heal the broken hearted; Isaiah 61
12. Rejected by his own people; Isaiah 53
13. Triumphal entry; Zechariah 9
14. Betrayed by a friend; Psalm 41
15. Sold for 30 pieces of silver; Psalm 41
16. Accused by false witnesses; Psalm 35

The odds of just 7 of these things being fulfilled by one person is about 1 in 10 to the 17th power. If you read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You’ll find that he fulfilled all of them.

According to Dr. David R. Reagan of Lamb and Lion Ministries;
He fulfilled more than one hundred distinctively different, specific prophecies about the Messiah’s First Advent.

“The claim of resurrection is vital to Christianity.
If Christ has been raised from the dead by God, then he has the credentials and certification that no other religious leader possesses. Buddha is dead. Muhammad is dead. Moses is dead. Confucius is dead. But, according to Christianity, Christ is alive.” R.C. Sproul

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” John 1:1-3 Unlike some will tell you, the word, Word means Jesus. It’s not a different being or a Spirit of some kind.

“The plainest reason why the Son of God is called the Word, seems to be, that as our words explain our minds to others, so was the Son of God sent in order to reveal his Father’s mind to the world. What the evangelist says of Christ proves that he is God. He asserts, His existence in the beginning; His coexistence with the Father. The Word was with God. All things were made by him, and not as an instrument. Without him was not any thing made that was made, from the highest angel to the meanest worm. This shows how well qualified he was for the work of our redemption and salvation.

The light of reason, as well as the life of sense, is derived from him, and depends upon him. This eternal Word, this true Light shines, but the darkness comprehends it not. Let us pray without ceasing, that our eyes may be opened to behold this Light, that we may walk in it; and thus be made wise unto salvation, by faith in Jesus Christ.” Matthew Henry

“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace, There will be no end. Upon the thrown of David and over His Kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice. from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
Isaiah 9:6-7

“Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.” 1 Corinthians 10:1-4

In the passages above Paul is telling us that Christ was the one who spoke to Moses. The God of the Old Testament is Jesus in the New Testament! Lets look at what else has been said about Jesus. “God replied to Moses, I Am Who I Am. Say to this to the people of Israel, I Am has sent me to you. God also said to moses, Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God of your ancestors- the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob-has sent me to you. This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.” Exodus 3:14-15

“Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the Prophets.
Who do you think you are? Jesus answered. If I want glory for myself, it doesn’t count. but it is my Father who will glorify me. You say. He is our God, but you don’t even know Him. I know Him. If I said otherwise, I would be as great a liar as you! But I do know and obey Him. Your father Abraham rejoiced as he looked forward to my coming. He saw it and was glad. The people said, You aren’t even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham? Jesus answered, I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I Am.” [Yahweh] John 8:53-58

“By the word of the Lord [Shema] the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.” Psalm 33:6
“Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded; and it stood fast.” Psalm 33:8-9; John 1:1-3

“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb; I Am the Lord, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone; Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself.” Isaiah 44:24

“For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.” 1 Chronicles 16:25-26
“Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? Jesus said, I Am.[Yahweh] And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” Mark 14:61b-62

“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Evan so, Amen. I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, Says the Lord, who is and was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:7-8

“For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, and the Water, and the Blood; and these three agree as one. 1 John 5:7-8

“Think of Christ correctly. Take Him out of the man class. Put Him in the God class. He never had a beginning. He is an eternal being. Associate yourself with Him and you will become a recipient of the same eternal life that we saw manifested in during the days of His flesh. He was born into this life for a purpose.

We saw at Bethlehem was the consummation of that plan, the materialization of the original conception in the mind of the Infinite. Jesus Christ did not come to reform but to transform. Not to repair but to replace. Not to save us from wrong-doing but to save us from wrong-being. He came to bring life. The natural man is dead in trespasses and sin. He said: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

The personality of Jesus Christ is the hub, the great central fact of all Scripture. Both the Old and New Testaments and are woven around His majestic personality. He was born in a supernatural way. He lived in poverty. He grew up in obscurity. He had no wealth. He attended no college. Yet the profoundest wisdom of men has never equaled His discourses.

The record says: “Never man spake like this man.” He associated with sinners. He ate with publicans. In fact, one had to be a sinner to attract His attention. He said: “The Son of man is come to seek and to save, that which was lost.” He has power to transform human lives. He specializes in making bad people good. That is the greatest of all miracles, transforming sinners into saints. He never mobilized an army, drafted a soldier, or fired a gun. Yet no military leader has ever enlisted as many volunteers as those who take orders from Him. Great men have come and gone. He lives on.

Herod could not kill Him. People at a religious service could not stone Him. Satan could not tempt Him. Death could not destroy Him. The grave could not contain Him. Demons obeyed Him. He fed a hungry multitude with the lunch of a small boy. He broke up funerals. He gave life back to those who were dead. He said: I am the resurrection and the life.” He conquered death. He rose on the third day as He had previously announced. He ascended into heaven. He sits at the right hand of the Majesty on high. He is the perfect One. He is the chief among ten thousands. He alone can satisfy the soul and give everlasting life to those who will accept. He is altogether lovely.”
Dr. Gerald B. Winrod

“This most beautiful system of Sun, Planets, Comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful being”… “This being governs all things, not as the Soul of the world, but as L’ord over all; and on account of His dominion He is wont to be called L’ord God.” Sir Issac Newton

“You cannot receive what Jesus gives and refuse who Jesus is.” “We can’t confess Him as Lord and serve any other master.” Dr. Adrian Rogers

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

In the book of Luke chapter 1, verses 31-33 there are six promises concerning Jesus. The first three have been fulfilled.
The last three are yet to happen.

1. You will conceive a son.
2. He will be called Jesus.
3. He will be called the Son of the Highest.
4. The Lord God will give Him the thrown of His father David.
5. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever.
6. Of His kingdom there will be no end.
